Understanding Counselling
Within Australia, a counsellor is someone trained to assist you or someone you know that have concerns about anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or relationship difficulties. Through counselling the goal is to resolve these problems in a positive helpful way through exploring different options, developing strategies with the client, as well as increasing self-awareness.
